Internships

March Against Revenge Porn is currently seeking applicants for part time, unpaid Internship positions based remotely worldwide. Interns will assist the Executive Director and Associate Director with project-oriented assignments and preparation for upcoming events.  Undergraduate and graduate students interested in social justice activism, cyber crimes, internet accessibility, LGBTQ+ issues and gender equity are encouraged to apply. Strong writing abilities preferred. 

deadlines:

Summer: May - August, Rolling Applications 

Fall: August - December, Rolling Applications

Spring: January-April, Rolling Applications

Press Interns will have the opportunity to expand their media knowledge by drafting and editing press releases, messaging development, video and audio production, drafting and pitching potential stories, monitoring social media, editing, and media outreach.  

Ideal candidates are undergraduate or graduate students interested in combating cyber crimes & sexual violence, LGBTQ+ issues, and gender equity.

This is an unpaid position. Skills and projects overseen may be added to resume. Interns work remotely and must have access to a computer and Skype. 

Qualifications

Undergraduate Degree or Relevant Experience in Politics, Press, Journalism, Organizing, or Communications preferred
Digital Journalism Experience
Strong Writing Skills

Strong Research skills
Graphic Design Skills a plus
Media Outreach Experience a plus
